At BGCFS, we are proud to support the Children’s Aid Foundation of Canada in helping youth transition out of child welfare and into successful, independent lives. Through the Children’s Aid Foundation of Canada’s Youth Opportunity Fund and… Youth Works Programs, these programs provide essential resources to support youth in building successful careers and accessing education.
– Youth Opportunity Fund: This Fund builds grants for career-building courses and programs for youth.
– Youth Works Program: This program includes pre-employment support to develop essential skills.
These programs help youth in and from care transition to independence through improved access to post-secondary education and resources to find and maintain meaningful employment.

BGCFS is sponsoring at swim on Saturday, August 10th from 12pm-1pm at the Blue Water Park Swimming Pool in Wiarton.

Thursday, August 8th – A Family Fun event in Dundalk!
1:30pm-4:30pm there will be snacks, games and crafts at the Lions Pavilion.
2:30pm-5:30pm sponsored swim in the pool.
BGCFS staff will be onsite to provide information and answer any questions related to volunteering and/or fostering… with Bruce Grey Child and Family Services.
