Service Recognition – Bruce Grey Child and Family Services Foster Parents
In a heartwarming testament to unwavering commitment and compassion, John and Joan Tretheway are being recognized for an incredible 40 years of devoted service as foster parents. Since 1983, this remarkable couple has opened their hearts and home to many children, providing love, stability, and support.
For four decades they have exemplified the true spirit of what fostering is about, while impacting the lives of many children and young people who have, at various times, needed a caring and nurturing environment. Julie Lipset, executive director at Bruce Grey Child and Family Services states, “the care, compassion, and love the Tretheway’s show has positively impacted more people than we will ever know. I thank them, and all foster parents, for the incredible work they do”.
