Centred Content

Children’s Aid Societies help to protect infants, children and youth who are experiencing abuse or are at risk of experiencing abuse. We help protect through services like family services, kinship supports, and out-of-home protection services such as foster care.

We aim to centre services and planning around a child and youth’s best interests in consideration of their views and preferences, identity, culture, and heritage. Great emphasis is placed on ensuring that children and youth can stay with their families and be safe and thrive whenever possible. We work to minimize disruption and maintain connections with extended family, kin, and community.
